INTRODUCTION TO THE INTERNET
We are currently running a course that introduces patrons to the wonderful world of the Internet. Due to overwhelming interest, the course is currently full. Keep an eye open for future computer related courses.
Time for Tots Join us for stories, puppets and crafts on Thursdays, 11 am-11:45am. Activities are geared to children aged 18 months to 3 years. It is a special time for parents and caregivers to spend with their toddlers. The program ends on March 20.
Story Time
Start your child on the road to reading - a lifelong journey. Stories, crafts and fun for 4 and 5 year olds. We are running this program on Fridays at 11am until 11:45 am until March 21.
Bedtime Stories
First Thursdays of the month at 7pm, Feb.6, Mar6, and Apr.3. Snuggle up for great bedtime storytelling. Stuffed animal friends welcome, pj's encouraged.
Senior's Teas Join the Friends of the Library and Library staff for tea, goodies, visiting and fun. The upcoming dates for Teas are February 28 and May 30 at 2:30 pm.
Book Club A great opportunity to explore new authors and engage in lively discussion. New readers welcome. The group meets the second Thursday of every month at 7:00 pm in the Library. Contact the Library for a list of titles to be discussed and/or reserve your copy.
Armchair Travellers Spend an evening visiting exotic sites around the world from the comfort of the Library! Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm.

FAMILY GAMES NIGHT
Board games and cards are available for your family to use. Challenge your family to a Scrabble show-down. Invite other families for a Crib competition. Meet at the Library on Thursday nights.
EASTER PARADE
Wed. April 16, 11 am-Noon
A program for children 5 and under. Stories, crafts and songs. There is a small fee of $1 per child. Pre-register in person or by phone.
EASTER BREAK AWAY!
Wed. April 23 from 1pm-3pm
An afternoon for kids 5-11 filled with stories, crafts, games and hi-jinks. There is a small fee of $2 per child. Registration is required. Enroll by calling 674-8519. |
